Bearwood Community Centre & Social Club is located on King John Avenue in the heart of Bearwood. We are a registered charity run by a volunteer committee of friendly and dedicated individuals looking to help and support the local community. Bearwood Community Centre is always buzzing with life as the centre regularly plays host to a wide variety of clubs, societies and organizations in our various halls. There really is something for everyone from dance and fitness to creativity and art so please see our clubs and activities page for information on how we can meet your needs. The community centre also houses Bearwood Social Club which is a popular friendly place with a good value bar and “pub-style” amenities. An independent voluntary committee also runs the Social Club and they host fun themed charity nights, sporting fixtures, quiz nights, darts and pool competitions.

Faye - Slimming World

“To the Bearwood community centre, I just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who helps run the Community Centre, especially to Lynn Rowe who helps every class leader fairly and runs the centre brilliantly without fail everyday!
I moved my Slimming World groups to the Centre back in October and myself & my members have been warmly welcomed which is very much appreciated. The hospitality, reliability & flexibility we have been provided with has meant that we have welcomed over 100 members of the community into our groups who’s weightloss successes are soaring.
The groups have been growing and growing which has lead to more groups opening to accomdate those who live in Bearwood who want help and support with losing weight and gaining a healthier lifestyle, so for that, on behalf of my members and from myself we are extremely grateful… Thank You… xXx”
